This series highlights recent finds that I’ve enjoyed across the week, including food, products, and entertainment. This week, I’m highlighting some of my recent favorite finds, that have all come to me thanks to the blogging community – though you can absolutely get involved, too!
Please note: While I was not compensated for any of the below, the content does contain some affiliate links and I did receive some products for free. As always, my family and I thank you so much for your support!
One of the things I love most about being a blogger, is that there is a true sense of community in our field. Of course, I’m not speaking for or about everyone, as just like in all fields, there are some people that want to be friends with co-workers and others that would prefer to not talk in the office. But, in large, most bloggers want to support and encourage one another.
I consider the blogging community to be my group of co-workers. We all approach projects and our businesses in different ways, but it’s great to be able to work next to someone at the coffee shop and toss ideas off of one another.
When you guys as readers get involved, it’s a whole other level of exciting for us. Whether commenting, getting in touch, or just consistently coming back to check up on updates – it’s exciting for us and it’ means that we’re doing something right. Thank you for that.
Below are some of the ways that I’ve been able to connect with my blog family in the recent past, and how you can get involved with each other them, too!
I (Heart) Skin
A new salon recently opened just outside of Denver (Wheat Ridge) called I (Heart) Skin and I was instantly intrigued. But when I found out that it was the brainchild of long time reader Jenny, I couldn’t wait to find out more!
I (Heart) Skin is focused not only on traditional skincare, but on customizing treatments to the individual. Beyond just a relaxing treatment, Jenny also loves to share tips and practical advice so that your skin can reap the benefits of your treatment not only that one day, but long term!
Receiving my facial was absolutely heavenly. Jenny provided great care and, since I’m a newbie to facials, explained every step along the way. Walking out of her new space, I felt relaxed and my skin actually felt like I was glowing the few days following. I already can’t wait to go back!
Find out more information or book your own facial here. The Classic (introductory) facial that I received costs $50.
Fabletics Cherry Creek Grand Opening
Over the years, I have heard SO much about Fabletics, both from you guys and from fellow bloggers alike. Although, for whatever reason, I’ve never tried out their clothes or services myself.
However, I recently heard from them about a VIP Grand Opening party for their new store in Cherry Creek and I couldn’t wait to check it out!
The store is located in Cherry Creek mall, across from the Kiehl’s store. And everything I’ve found about the brand was wonderful!
To be honest, I think I was a little be hesitant to buy anything online, not being familiar with the fabrics or quality. Plus, I kind of disliked the idea that I thought I would just keep getting clothes sent to me at a higher price than I typically like to spend on my athletic wear.
But this store has erased all of my concerns. Being able to see and feel the product has assured me of it’s high quality. Not only is it cute design, but it’s highly functional, as well. Plus, being able to just pop into the store when I know I need a cute workout top or classic pair of black leggings means that I can try on the product and make sure that it’s exactly what I’m looking for prior to my actual purchase.
For this grand opening weekend, you get in on the deals, too! You receive:
- 20 % off of your purchases
- Complimentary pair of Salar capris for the first 50 customers each day of the weekend (valued at $49)
- Light refreshments (champagne anyone?)
- A performance by an acro yoga artist
