Everybody’s working for the weekend… ish.


Today was kindaaa a long one back at Sweat on State.  But  happy Tabata Tuesday nonetheless!

Warm-up: 3 rounds of 100m row, 10 squats, 10 push-ups, 3 burpees

Workout: 8 rounds of each workout; :20 on/:10 off; 1 minute rest between rounds

Wall Balls
Ball Slams
Box Jumps
Kettle Bell Swings
Goblet Squats

Cool down: 3 rounds of :20 plank and 4 man-ups

In total, the workout took me close to an hour.  And I looked like this afterwards…

Yep.  That’s me hardly being able to breathe.  Also, am I the only one who has a slightly watermelon-colored face after a tough workout?


Ok, quick update.  This little one put in her two week notice at her day job today.  WHAT?!

That’s right.  I’m going to be funemployed for a bit starting October 7th.  More to come on this life change on #tbt, but I’d love your advice on how to leave a company on good terms.  Thus far I’ve heard:

1) Speak to your manager and past managers personally.
2) Quickly follow up with a short, written notice for your file.
3) Be positive.  I’m already leaving, there’s no point to burn bridges.


What would you add to this currently short and sweet list?  I’d love your tips!
