Sometimes I find myself falling back in love with Fridays. Working from home on these days, I have the opportunity to wake up slowly while much of the city is still sleeping. Listening to the birds chirping and the city slowly awakening allows me the time to meditate on how full of love and life Denver really is.
Ray surprised me with a bouquet of flowers early this week for the simple sake of sending m flowers. Not only is this one of the many reasons I love him, but I’ve also fallen in love with the luscious array of colors surrounding me from this bouquet. The sunflowers (my favorite flower), coral and magenta roses create such a pleasant dynamic with the hydrangeas.
This is one of those times that I become incredibly jealous and inspired by professional florists. They have a method of putting colors and flowers together that I could never emulate, but always seem to turn out incredibly well. Plus, this gorgeous bouquet came complete with a hilarious little teddy bear that I’ve lovingly named Frank. I’m thinking that Ray might regret that decision once Frank has taken up residence in our bed for an extended period of time. 🙂
