Orange-Lime Margarita

As I’m sure you’ve all noticed by now, it’s CINCO DE MAYO!  I have no idea what this holiday is about (feel free to educate me), but I do know that I love our Kitchen Sink Taco Nights and a good margarita.  In case you’re in the mood for a phenomenal margarita, then I figured I’d pass along a personal favorite recipe, originally from the always wonderful Emily over at Cupcakes & Cashmere.

Ingredients for this wonderful beverage include:

2 limes

1/2 orange

2 1/2 oz. tequila

1 oz triple sec

1/4 oz agave syrup

1/4 oz Grand Marnier

Directions:

In a cocktail shaker with ice, juice 2 limes and 1/2 orange.  Add tequila, triple sec, and agave syrup.  Shake vigorously for 20 seconds.  Strain over glass with new ice cubes and float Grand Marnier on top.

Enjoy!
