As I know that I was kind of MIA while I was in Chicago, I thought I’d take a minute to talk about one of the highlights of my trip. I got to… ICE SKATE IN SOLDIER FIELD!!
One of the perks of dating a stud like Ray is that he gets invited to rowdy events like playing in an ex-professional hockey game to open the Hockey City Classic (college hockey games, including Miami University, played in Soldier Field.) Due to his inside knowledge, some friends and I were able to skate in the rink prior to his game!
For those of you that don’t know – I’m obsessed with the Bears. I also ice-skated for over half of my life. Combining these two passions was absolutely incredible!
As you can see, it was FRIGID! We were covered as much as possible, head to toe. But Ray had a great cheering committee! Thanks to our friends and family that came out to celebrate – it was absolutely fantastic to be able to catch up with each of you!
