These aren’t incredibly beautiful to look at, but my goodness they are tasty! Ray’s mom recently made these for our Easter basket and they were fantastic. She originally got the recipe from Simply, Taralynn and then made it her own – adding a little sweetness for an extra special kick!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl combine: 1/2 medium banana, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tablespoon ground flax seed, 1 tablespoon oats (gluten free oats if you are gluten free), 1 packet Stevia, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 cup raisins, 1/4 cup coconut, 1/2 cup almonds, and 1/2 tsp baking soda.
You can add additional ingredients such as chocolate chips, etc. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and drop three 2 tablespoon sized cookies onto the sheet. Bake for 10-twelve minutes. Allow to cool down for fifteen minutes before eating.

Absolutely, incredibly tasty. Enjoy!

These look great and really easy to make, are they really only 30 calories per portion?
April 14, 2015 at 9:08 amYep! Pending, of course, how much sweetness (and what kind) you include. I tend to go a little overboard on dark chocolate. I heard that it’s good for you right? 🙂

The title grabbed me… whether we calorie count or not, that sneaky cheeky title lures me further ha! Good call, these look good too. I will make these next week. The only thing I can’t source here is stevia – is it a sugar? I am guessing I can switch in maple syrup?
April 14, 2015 at 2:11 pmMy kids would love these as an after school snack, and so would I! 🙂
