Team. There are SO MANY ELEMENTS involved in wedding venue budgets. I was used to planning sorority formals or office conferences where you find a space, book a date, and sign the dotted line. But NO… these places all have random, little things that you have to pay for that are highly confusing. A $43/hour forest fee? That’s a thing? Yes, yes my beautiful SSTers, it is.
The great news is that we have narrowed our options down to the final two that perfectly fit our taste, style, and budget. Be looking for us traveling to Vail in the near future, and cross your fingers/send a prayer up to whatever G-o-d you’re on board with for us.
If you’re finding yourself in the budgeting phase, or if you think you ever will, then I highly recommend the budgeting sheet I created below. Make sure that you redevelop it to fit your scene and venues, but pulling this together was a HUGE help for us. Feel free to redevelop and use as you will. Good luck!
