This series highlights recent finds that I’ve enjoyed across the week. This week includes food, products, and entertainment I’ve been enjoying, not to mention some discounts and sales that are too good to pass up!
Please note: While I was not compensated for any of the below, some products were free to try and the content does contain some affiliate links. As always, my family and I thank you so much for your support!
Rocksbox – Rocksbox is a subscription services that allows you to “rent” three pieces of designer jewelry for a month. After that month is over, you pop your jewelry back into the pre-paid envelope and await your next three pieces! Above are the three pieces that I received in my first delivery. I LOVED that they each worked together, but made statements when worn independently, as well. I just sent these back in – I was SO sad to see that necklace go, but I already can’t wait to see what my next delivery will include!
Rocksbox is $19 for a full membership. But for a limited time, use code semisweettoothxoxo to get your first month free.
I’ll be sure to share when my next Rockbox delivery comes in on Snapchat, too! – – > @SemiSweetTooth
Aceso -Acesco is a local, Colorado-based company that is founded on the principle that nature holds the key to wellness. Named after the Greek goddess of healing, they harness naturally occurring constituents in hemp and combine them with natural ingredients, like lavender and tumeric, to create products that nurture our natural bodies. Aceso comes in three varieties:
-
Wellness (my personal favorite) – Promotes overall wellbeing and acts kind of like a vitamin by providing you with extra immune support
-
Calm – Which helps your mind relax through everyday stresses
-
Soothe – Reduces the impact of minor headaches or muscle soreness (I used this the day after a long hike and it helped a lot)
When you buy Aceso use code SWEET10 at checkout to receive 10% off your order!
Veep – I can’t be the only one that gets slightly discouraged by the lack of good television shows around this time of year. “Modern Family,” “Black-ish,” and “The New Girl” are all on break, so where’s the comedic relief in my week?
Enter “Veep,” a hilarious show where Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) is the Vice-President and all sort of hilarity ensues. We’ve been watching the episodes on HBO On Demand and are in the middle of the 5th season. Meaning that we’re almost done with all of the episodes to date!
I don’t want to ruin any surprises, but I will tell you this. Especially in the middle of this political season we’re in, this show is lighthearted, quick, and laugh-out-loud funny. I highly recommend for a good time.
Shop the NORDSTROM Anniversary Sale now through August 7! – Just because I don’t want to have to say, “I told you so.” This is your friendly reminder that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still going on. Check out my favorite items and best deals here.
