Weekly Favorites

This week, I was nominated for the Love/Hate Challenge, but since I recently completed this challenge, I’m going to dedicate this week’s Weekly Favorites to one of my favorite blogs, Say Yes to Happy.  THANK YOU so much for inviting me to participate!  I’m consistently honored and humbled by this amazing community and how much we support one another. 🙂

And now, to the things that are making me smile this week!

It’s rare that I buy an actual CD.  But when I still haven’t installed XM radio in my car and my phone is running low on data, it’s the perfect opportunity to live in the past a bit and toss in a CD.  Y’all know I love me some Zac Brown Band, and this entire disk is amazing!  Every song is like a little party – PERFECT for the drives to and from work every day!

I found this article from the New York Times that I found fascinating!  It highlights the growth of private jet travel around the globe.  It’s amazing to think of this as a symbol of our world changing – definitely thought provoking.

It seems that I’m having flashbacks this week or something.  Not only did I listen to a CD, but I decided to listen to Dane Cook – I haven’t listened to him since my college days.  I forgot how hilarious he is!  If you haven’t heard Dane Cook’s material, listen to his Kool-Aid jokes on youtube or your medium of choice.  So.Funny.

Last but not least, I’m crazy excited for my father to come to town!  He’ll be in town as we head over to aspen for the weekend.  Sounds like the perfect way to celebrate this (planned to be) sunny weekend!
