Favorite Things

Quick post today, as we’re off to hit the slopes the second I hit “Publish” on this post.  I’m so excited to spend an extended weekend in the mountains with some of our closest Denver friends before we all part ways for the Christmas season!

In this series, I highlight some of my favorite finds from across the week.  Whether they’re informational links, awesome new products, or fun pictures, I hope you enjoy!  If you’re interested in seeing past Weekly Favorites, check out past posts here.

75535a939ad3dec16b0f31b03a2436b1 I’ve recently been on a massive reclaimed wood kick, driven by the creative use of the material by our favorite restaurant in Denver, The Curtis Club.  My search led me to find these beautiful pictures of this home, originally published by Thistlewood Farms.  Every detail is exquisite, and the interior design fits each room seamlessly together.  Great use of design, without being overly committed to one aesthetic.

I was on the search for a simple, creative recipe that I’d easily be able to make on the road over the holidays.  This Graham Cracker Christmas Crunch fits the bill!  It looks incredibly easy to pull together with very few ingredients.  And with everything pictured, I’m certain that it’s going to be a real crowd pleaser!

I can’t promise much, but I can promise that I’ll be wearing these flushed rosy, Winter cheeks all season.  They’re one beauty staple that I’ve been carrying with me since last year, and I don’t see the look leaving my favorites section anytime soon.

In decided how we are going to wrap our Christmas gifts this year, I spotted this article on how to tie unique sailor knots.  While the article uses them pertaining to wedding favors, I think it’s the perfect way to bring some classic details into our Christmas season.]

12-months-better-you

I haven’t been a big fan of New Year’s resolutions in the recent past, primarily because I’m a big fan of starting to work on goals immediately rather than waiting for a specific day.  But when I spotted this post on simple ideas that you can incorporate into your life each month of the year, I though it was genius.  Be on the lookout for me to be drinking water like a camel come January!
