I recently heard about a company called MoBell Muscle, and I’m hooked!  Essentially, it’s a portable, light weight system that allows you to bring your gym anywhere by packing gear for up to four people.  The product was originally developed by guys in the military, because (I didn’t know this) when the military is stationed somewhere, they typically don’t have access to traditional gym equipment and lose all the progress they’ve made while working out at home.  But, I honestly feel like this can help anyone – how many times have I been traveling or desperately wanted to celebrate gorgeous weather outside while I workout?  This can allow those opportunities to occur!

If this sounds interesting to you, check out their Kickstarter page and support them with sponsorships starting at $5.  You can either get yourself some fancy gear, or sponsor a military member to receive gear that they can use anywhere.  They have an all-or-nothing goal to raise $75,000 by December 17, so don’t wait too long!

I can’t be the only one that loves a good ol’ fashioned step-and-repeat.  While I’m still getting used to more publicized media events, including what works and what doesn’t on the red carpet, I know that I’m always going to proudly look back at this photo as the first time I was considered a part of a event’s media strategy.  Champagne CHEERS to many more to come!

There’s a new love of my life –sorry, Ray- and it’s ordering a scoop of ice cream at the most random places and times available.  For example, the above scoop of vanilla with light chocolate sauce was around noon at a bar this past weekend where we were watching the Bears game.  But there’s just nothing better than a scoop of vanilla when you’re sitting outside on a gorgeous, sunny day.  Cheat meal everyday if a could. 🙂

Love this article on 5 Practical Ways to Actually Change Your Life.  It boils all the advice you’ve likely ever heard on achieving your goals and boils them down to five, understandable, non-overwhelming steps that you can achieve.  My favorite tip is actually part of a larger step… write it down.  That makes your goal real.  Put it on a post-it for your bathroom mirror so that you can actually read your goal and commit it to memory as a constant reminder of where your life is leading.

If you’ve been following SST for more than a couple days, you know that I’m currently following Kayla Itsines’ Bikini Body Guide – now on week 7!  While the workouts are great, what I’m loving most is the COMMUNITY that she’s created.  It’s literally a global group of (primarily) women that support and discuss serious fitness strategies with one another.  Kayla has been hinting towards a massive announcement related to her brand (this is all we’ve gotten), and her community has started taking pictures similar to my post above with signs highlighting what’s to come.  Even though we have NO idea what it is!  I’m not all-in on the BBG community yet (Instagram handle is remaining @semisweettooth), but I am loving where my experience is going.  And whatever this “Ready to Sweat” thing is, it’s finally supposed to be released TODAY.  I think this calls for a celebration.

And lastly, for the first time, I’m joining Amanda over at Running with Spoons for Thinking Out Loud Thursday where others share some of the randomness they’re loving this week.  Can’t wait to explore!
