1 Year Blogiversary!

Happy Tuesday, my beautiful SSTers!

This past Sunday marked 1 year since I registered Semi-Sweet Tooth – and I can’t believe how quickly the year has flown by!  I didn’t start writing consistently until the back half of February this year, so an extra special THANK YOU to those of you that have been there from the very beginning.  Just under 1,000 followers later, this diary has become a space that I’m truly proud to share with the world.  I’m glad to say that I’m sticking with a friend’s advice who shared that I should “be the blog you want to read.”  And I can’t wait to keep being inspired by all of you in the years ahead!

To celebrate this momentous day (which should obviously be a national holiday, if you ask me), I thought it would be fun to look back at the past year to check out my top posts.  While I love doing this every month to see what’s resonating with you guys as the drivers of the content, the full year look brings about some interesting posts jumping to the top!

1) The Proposal

63015_1_thumbI’m so happy to say that one of my favorite days of this past year blew all other posts out of the water!  Written 10 days after Ray proposed in Breckenridge, this post highlights all of the great details Ray pulled together on this stunning day in June.

2) Lokai Bracelets

This post has consistently surprised me, regularly popping up on the reader since my original post back in March.  I’m still loving this fantastic cause, and several in my office have decided to jump on board.  These bracelets are incredibly comfortable to wear, and they definitely put you in the right zone to feel centered across the day.

3) Liebster Award

One of my favorite pieces of the blogging community is our community-based awards.  They show how much we support each other and build each other up in a world where we could be tearing each other down.  This post was a blast to write, and some of my favorite blogs were linked within.  Feel free to jump in with your answers, too – I can’t wait to learn more!

4) #tbt: Ma’s Birthday Gifts

2015_1-15-3 My gift posts have been relatively popular across the year, and this one seemed to stand out from the rest to you guys.  This rockin’ set of wine glasses and a personal book made for a great gift for my mother’s birthday back in January.  Highly recommend for plenty of smiles and fun, along with sharing your love for those you care about the most.

5) Sunday Confessions: Living on the Lilly Side

Lily - Shift Dress - Upstream, $38 Just like the collection, this post flew off the shelves back in late March/early April.  While I decided to hold on to my funds in favor of the Eddie Borgo for Target collection, I still adore most of the pieces Lilly provided in this limited-time-only collection, and love seeing how you guys have styled these pieces for everyday wear.

6) Curing MS.  It”s the #BreakYouMake.

11127717_10102331143576458_1930162337356356515_n - Copy In this post from June, I partnered with Chobani Flips to highlight somebody that needs a break.  I’m so glad that you guys were as inspired as I am by my dear friend Haley’s work to cure her mother’s Multiple Sclerosis.  How are you going to inspire other women today?

Other posts

Rounding out the top 10 were my more generalized posts, and I’m so glad that they’ve been helpful for you guys!  My Archives, About page, Weekly Workouts, and Contact Me page all made strong appearances across the year. I’m so glad that you guys love to learn more!
