How to Accomplish Your 2018 Resolutions Based on Your Zodiac Sign

Editor’s Note: As we’re very early into 2018, and are hopefully still very committed to our yearly goals, we think that this post continues to be highly relevant, as it will be throughout the year.  In fact, I’ve been referencing it regularly in trying different organizational hacks and habits that help to keep me on track.

With 2017 firmly in the rearview mirror, we move into the New Year ready to clear out stagnant energy from our past. To do this, we must allow more room for good energy and opportunities to come into our life by giving ourselves a bit more room to breathe (a little more self-care, a little less stress).

You probably have a long list of goals that you want to achieve within this year. Whether they are personal goals, professional objectives, or more general resolutions to focus on throughout the year, it can sometimes be difficult to know where to begin!

Interestingly enough, your zodiac sign might actually hold the secrets you need to achieve those big 2018 goals.

In fact, there are certain methods of organization and specific workflow systems that are most compatible to your zodiac sign. Trying the specific types of organization that work best with your zodiac could hold the secrets you need to increase your productivity for the year.

Learn more about how to attack your goals based specifically on your zodiac sign here.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

You enjoy structure and a highly fixed schedule. Separation of work and play and organizing your day effectively is what’s most important to help you achieve your goals in the New Year.

In fact, to help yourself productively work towards your resolutions, consider using a daily, hour-by-hour calendar to show yourself that you can get it all done.

When tasks come up, especially if they feel overwhelming, write everything down across the week so that you know exactly when you’re going to cross everything off of your to-do list. Also, know that you will typically have difficulty working from home, because it will start to make your home feel like a second office in your mind.

If you need to complete work-related tasks over the weekend or outside typical working hours, consider going to a coffee shop or actually heading into the office. This will allow your home to remain a relaxing, comfortable solace for your off hours.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

You’re the dreamer of the zodiac, and those dreams that others may think are irrelevant are actually pointing towards your big-scheme goals.

Dreaming bigger than others in the zodiac can often lead to inspired results . . . as long as you stay on task and get things done. The one problem with being the big dreamer is that it’s often difficult for you to stay on task, and you frequently procrastinate.

The best tactic to help you reach your goals for the year is to get comfortable with tackling your most difficult tasks first. Once you organize your day, be sure to cross off your most time-consuming tasks before moving on (or at least the tasks that you want to do least) so you can focus the rest of your day on what you enjoy.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Geminis typically tend to be more chatty and social. They do a great job staying on task and staying committed to their goals, especially if it’s a goal that was handed to them from an external source.

Geminis do some of their best work in team settings. Consider getting others involved in your goals. Find a workout partner. Make your volunteer efforts more social by bringing a few friends.

Breathe life into your resolutions by talking about them with your friends and family so that they can help to hold you accountable – this is how the social butterfly Gemini thrives in accomplishing their goals and enjoying the process along the way.
